Kora Wuthier studied rhythmics (majoring in piano and recorder) at the Academy of Music in Vienna, and Celtic harp with Dominig Bouchaud, instructor at the Quimper Conservatory (Brittany) and with various harpists from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the United States. She is an avid student of the languages and the culture of Celtic lands, and one of her top priorities is to make the Celtic harp known to a wide audience as a versatile instrument in its own right. In addition to her intensive work as a teacher, she regulary appears as a soloist in concerts with various ensembles in Switzerland an abroad, and also performs as a storyteller. In 1997, she received the Cultural Award of the City of Rorschach for her cenception and organization of the Days of Celtic Music on Lake Constance.
